Songs from the Heart offers corporate and trade association events in Nashville, Tennessee, and around the world. Our programs are designed for businesses and groups of all sizes. We offer a full spectrum of events from intimate performances to arena-style shows. There are four performance packages listed here but we will customize events for your group.
Stories Behind the Hits
The Stories behind the Hits package includes an intimate Bluebird Cafe and Listening Room style show. Our songwriters perform their hits and reveal what inspired them to write their songs. They tell the spellbinding insider accounts of their experiences in the music industry – how the celebrity artists you know and love came to fall in love with their songs! They interact with the audience and answer questions about songwriting, success, the music industry, and creativity.
This event also includes a Meet and Greet, where the artists are happy to pose for pictures, chat, sign CDs, and answer questions. Stories behind the Hits brings the Bluebird Cafe experience to you, wherever you may be.
Team Building - Write Your Own Song!
Our corporate and group team-building package is exciting, fun, and engaging. It is a wonderful way to teach your teams how to work together to achieve maximum success. Some groups enjoy styling the exercise as a competition by putting groups into teams, or the group as a whole can write the song with a #1 songwriter.
Our featured songwriter, James Dean Hicks, oversees the team-building event and works one on one with your employees to help them discover their own creativity. We can accommodate groups of all sizes. He and his team bring people together to create and perform their song they write, about what they do, their company, where they have been, and where they are heading. We will design a program just for you and your team. This event is not only fun and engaging, but it also builds motivation and a strong work ethic.
Legends, Lyrics, and Laughter
Part musical performance, part comedy show, the Legends, Lyrics, and Laughter package is a favorite. We select a top comedian to MC the show and provide a fast-paced routine. Then our Songs from the Heart writers come together for a high energy performance. This package is funny, heartwarming, and inspirational. It’s sure to leave a lasting impression on your company.
Speaking Engagement
As a keynote speaker, James Dean Hicks shares his expertise on creative business strategies and ideas. He speaks on creativity, collaboration and challenges on the road to success. Each talk is tailor-made for your group and is given from his unique perspective. The basic principles he shares apply to almost every field of business. James has come a long way in his life and career. He began writing at the age of 10 and was opening for major musical acts by 13. He has written seven #1 hits and has had more than 200 songs recorded by artists all over the world in all genre of music. He is exceptionally talented at speaking to a crowd, no matter the size.
